Default Online Philosophy Resources

This is a thread for posting links to online philosophy resources. Please add links to sites that you have visited and found to be of potential value.

Note that this thread is for links only. Any discussion will be split off into a new thread, where suggestions and criticisms will be considered, and changes to this thread may be made, based on those discussions.

As you add items, be sure to provide at least a brief description.

Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

This is a great place to start your reading on various philosophical topics, as it takes an encyclopedic approach to topics, surveying various schools of thought and citing various philosophers who have been involved with the topic at hand. Wikipedia’s cool for a quick glance, but Wikipedia is clearly inferior to the SEP.

Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy

Here's another encyclopedia that I just found. It's very similar to the Stanford one.

Online Papers in Philosophy

This is a blog that tracks new philosophy articles that appear online.

Online Papers on Philosophy of Mind/Consciousness

This is a collection of links maintained by David Chalmers on consc.net. If you’re exploring the Hard Problem or AI or anything like that, there’s plenty of good things to read here (including plenty of papers opposed to Chalmers’ views).

People with Online Papers in Philosophy

This is another page maintained by David Chalmers, with links to the personal pages of philosophers from all areas of philosophy.

Please post your own finds. To know is to share, and to share is to know.

The Galilean Library - great resource more or less focusing on the intersection between the sciences and the humanities. The site houses a number of papers in philosophy, various discussions, and some book reviews.

http://www.marxists.org/

Marxists Internet Archive - though, it's called the Marxists Internet Archive, it actually covers texts from a variety of socialists philosophers, revolutionaries and activists. It also includes some stuff by people that are considered by some to be proto-communist, like Thomas Paine. Inexplicably, to me at least, Isaac Newton is even listed here (might have something to do with Hegel commenting on Newton, which is included on Newton's page.)
